Just wanted to let everybody know we've weathered hurricane Ike just fine...
Our town (Sealy) didn't really feel Ike until about 4am Saturday morning.  We got a lot of wind but it was more gusty that violent.  It was some of the strongest winds I've ever seen but barely got our area wet.  As far as I can tell our house and property didn't sustain any damage, thank the Lord. We appreciate all you thoughts and prayers and many of you checking up on us.  We have made it through very well compared to other parts of the Houston area.  Please pray for all the people here who have to deal with no power for days and significant damage to property.
